Direct Audition Instructions

If you have an AMTC Search or Affiliate in your area, a face-to-face audition is the best way to be seen! Please see the List of Regional Directors on our main website to see who may be close to you.

If you don’t see an AMTC Search or Regional Director in your area, or you missed your audition, but you would still like to be considered for AMTC, you can submit a Direct Audition. Here’s what to do:

• Step 1:
  Actors, Singers, and Dancers will need to prepare a one minute video of themselves performing. See example videos and instructions below.
  
  OR
  
  Models will need to prepare 2 snapshots of themselves - one headshot and one full length. *Please keep your appearance very natural (little to no makeup, natural hair and clean! See examples below.
• Step 2:
  Fill out the Direct Audition Application, including your audition photos and/or videos.

Videos should be 1 minute in length. No need for fancy video production, lighting, etc. We just want to focus on your raw performance.

You do not need fancy photography - any old camera will do. The following polaroids are a great example.

Photo/video Preparation and Upload Instructions

We recommend using Photobucket.com to upload your audition photo/video(s). You can open an account for free, upload most any type of photo or video, and Photobucket will create an internet-ready, share-able photo or video.

Once uploaded, Photobucket will provide you with direct links to your photos and videos. You will paste these links into your Direct Audition Application.
